DESERT TORTOISE

Tortoise conservation is a top priority at THC. We have an entire project area consisting of over 4,000 acres to help contribute to their protection. We work closely with the Bureau of Land Management to protect an additional 250,000 acres in the West Mojave by restoring illegal routes and trails that cut through their habitat.
