Tumbleweed Roundup

The Western Joshua tree is a State Candidate species. That means that it gets treated with the same protection as an endangered species. This iconic tree is subject to weed build up that can start fires in the woodland. The Joshua trees don't do well with fire. Come and help this endangered tree and keep the Antelope Valley fire-ready by removing this build-up!

We will meet at Arthur B. Ripley State Woodland Park, and head over to our Portal Ridge Wildlife Preserve Property just next door. We will provide tools, some snacks and water to refill your bottles. Please bring layers, a hat, water bottle, snacks, and gardening gloves.

Sign up via Google Forms, HERE. See you out there!
